Hollywood Cookie Diet, A Healthy Weight Loss Alternative?

In todays fast paced society we have all gotten away from eating healthier and have turned to the fast food, easy way of eating. With that in mind we also look for shortcuts in our diets instead of just plain eating right. I fall short of it and so many others do also, we also look for ways to diet that will be simpler and less traditional. That why the topic for today is the “Hollywood Cookie Diet”.
While most diets require more conventional types of foods for intake, the Hollywood Cookie Diet is non-conventional in that it is more or less a dessert food. Although the common thought would be that this would not be a healthy alternative, opinions vary, and the verdict is still out.
Like most diet fads the psychological part is the most important part of any diet. If you believe in what you are doing and you regemented to the program you should reach your goals,but If you don’t have the will power to stay with any diet plan you will surely never see the results you wish to attain. The problem with most diets is you get bored with them easily or you don’t abide with the guidelines.
The Hollywood diet cookies are made up of wheat, soy, milk and eggs, among a long list of other ingredients. Meal plan consist of eating 4 cookies each day, one at breakfast, one as a mid morning snack, one for lunch, and one as a mid afternoon snack. The diet also calls for a sensible dinner meal and the provide you with recipes of nutritional dishes. Typical results are to loose 15 pounds a month and this can flucuate quite a bit according to your metabolism and following the strict guidelines. This would probably be a good diet if you wanted to loose 30 pounds or less, cause I just can’t see living mainly on cookies for longer than a couple of months. 4 grams of fiber
8 grams of sugar
25 grams of carbohydrates
The thing that intrigued me about this diet is that it is somewhat healthy as far as the ingedients are concerned and from what I hear they are quite tasty. Being able to eat cookies (something we all have enjoyed sometime in our lives) and loosing weight surely makes this diet plan unique to say the least.
